2GB Bolsters NRL Coverage With Trio Of League Personalities

Under the watchful eye of new owner Arthur Laundy, 2GB has secured the services of Cooper Johns, Andrew Webster and Darryl 'The Big Mann' Brohman as part of a new Rugby League strategy for the 2026 season.

The move is the first since Laundy purchased the station for $56 million in January this year and aims to set the station up to compete with other NRL broadcasters with daily shows featuring Johns and Webster. He is set to join the stations 'The Offload' program from Monday to Wednewsday alongside Mark Geyer,

Webster is no stranger to the NRL talk shows and radio, having been a regular feature on both Fox Sports and Channel 9 programs. He has stepped away from NRL 360 duties in 2026 and his podcast 'Off The Record' since the retirement of his co-host Phil 'Buzz' Rothfield.

Johns had a fledgling first grade NRL career with stints at both Melbourne and Manly before hanging up the boots aged 24 at the end of the 2023 season. Having made his name working on the new defunct Kyle & Jackie-O show as well as the Johns Family Podcast, he will take up a role on the Continuous Call Team from this Sunday when he joins Gavin Pitchford, Darryl Brohman and Mark Riddel.

Brohman, who has spent time away from media responsibilityes since being diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma last November will return to the airwaves to call games on both Saturdays and Sundays.
