Kayo Stadium: All You Need to Know

Kayo Stadium is the intimate waterfront home of the Dolphins, located in Redcliffe (Kippa-Ring), Queensland, in Brisbane’s northern bayside. With a capacity of around 10,000, it is one of the NRL’s smallest venues, delivering a tight, high-energy atmosphere where fans are close to the action and noise travels quickly.
Originally opened in 1979 and redeveloped in stages through to 2020, the ground has evolved from a traditional suburban venue into an NRL-ready stadium while retaining its strong community feel. It is widely regarded as one of the competition’s most fan-friendly grounds, particularly for afternoon and early-evening fixtures.

The stadium continues to host Queensland Cup matches, junior finals and community events, reinforcing Redcliffe’s long-standing reputation as a rugby league heartland.
