Where it all started?

Fanatics is an Australian sports brand founded in 1997, originally as a merchandise business & travelling Australian supporter group who travelled the globe supporting our countrymen & women on the world stage.

It was fun, rowdy & irreverent but what a time to be alive! Times were different then with no smart phones or social media & it was the early days of the web, so we did it the old school way, by chain emails & word of mouth. Word spread quickly as we created a social group of like-minded Aussie sports fans like no other.

We opened offices in London & Sydney which catered to the masses who joined us on a tour to the Caribbean, Pamplona, Brazil, Russia or to a tournament in our backyard. Over 160,000 punters have toured with us at last count with many life-long friendships plus marriages, kids & of course a few blow ups. You name it, we’ve seen it on tour!

These days, Fanatics has grown into one of Australia’s most recognisable sports brands at home & internationally. We still organise tours to the world’s biggest events, operate a shop selling officially licensed & Fanatics merchandise, produce a host of market leading podcasts with Australian media identities & former players as well as run some cracking live events & sports bars.
